My childhood shaped the way I saw the world.
That eventually led me into crime.
Then came a motorcycle crash that changed my life forever. I lost my arm.
And later, I lost my freedom.
I spent more than five years in prison.
Built Different is the story of how I got there – but more importantly, how I found a different way out.
This isn't a book about glorifying crime.
It's about understanding behaviour without excusing it. Taking responsibility. Questioning the beliefs that drive our choices. And proving that the person you've been doesn't have to be the person you remain.
